GEOMECÁNICA DE LAS ANHIDRITAS EN LA FM. QUINTUCO Y SU IMPACTO EN LA PRODUCCIÓN EN EL YACIMIENTO PUESTO MORALES, RÍO NEGRO, CUENCA NEUQUINA - 16 p. ; 15-29
The Quintuco Fm. in the Puesto Morales oil field has significant undeveloped oil reserves, that couldnt́ be effectively developed with vertical wells with single hydraulic frac completions or horizontal multifraced wells. The Quintuco Fm. Reservoirs are dolomitic and are located at the base of parasequences separated by anhydritic levels. The commingled production of several parasequences after hydraulic fracturing showed high initial production levels with a strong decline after 10 days. This production behavior led to geological, chemical tracers and mechanical (embedment testing) studies of the reservoirs and seals of the parasequences. The analysis of the studies showed that the conductivity of the hydraulic fracs at reservoir pressure reduces significantly with time in anhydrites, producing the isolation of the reservoirs initially connected by the fractures
