ANÁLISIS DE LA EVOLUCIÓN DEL LINEAMIENTO ESTRUCTURAL DE LOMA LA LATA OESTE - EL CORDÓN - LINDERO ATRAVESADO A PARTIR DE NUEVOS DATOS SÍSMICOS PARA LA FORMACIÓN VACA MUERTA - 20 p. ; 179-198
This paper presents a new interpretation of the deformation events linked to the structural evolution of the Lindero Atravesado El Cordón Loma La Lata Oeste transcurrent fault system. Its a WNW-ESE trending narrow zone that extends about 100 km along the southern border of the Neuquén Basin. High quality 3D seismic data allowed the definition of a detailed fault pattern and a 2D geomechanical restoration was used to simulate failures and deformation patterns in different time intervals allowing the determination of active and non-active faults as well as folds appearance and evolution. For the determination of stress orientation and the stress field, GPlates software was used. The obtained results indicate a complex displacement field and stress rotation, from deeper levels to Vaca Muerta Formation terms.
