In the Golfo San Jorge Basin, reservoirs typically present heterogeneity in lateral distribution and low thickness, resulting from a fluvial-deltaic deposition. These characteristics make subsurface correlations difficult to perform, and in certain cases reservoir pressure data may not be available, or it is known with a certain grade of uncertainty. The situation described above increases the possibilities of fracturing reservoirs with very low pore pressure, which in most cases results in a well not producing at economical rates. These wells, when fractured, always have additional completion costs associated to CT and N2 cleanup operation. An interval become a thief zone as most of the wells are completed multi-zones. A second issue resulting in low productive intervals when fractured is associated to low transmissibility, typically low k and/or h. The objective of this work is to use existing Pre-Fracture injection test, together with statistical data, to identify reservoirs that will underperform after being hydraulically fractured due to either a low Reservoir Pressure and/or a low Permeability. The heigh of the zone is well estimated from open hole logs. This work, done in the Golfo San Jorge basin, could be easily extended to other similar reservoirs/ basins following the described methodology. = Desarrollo y Sustentabilidad
