Since 2014 year that was implemented Petrel Studio, Tecpetrol has a database with repositories classified for Country and Basin. For this job, it is used the "Cuenca Neuquina" repository. This repository has all information about areas where Tecpetrol has activities on this basin. Data Management was responsible in design, load and quality control of this information. The users are connecting from Petrel to Studio for bring the information and only they can load interpretations on Studio. Due to the development of unconventional resources in "Fortín de Piedra" area by Tecpetrol, It was necessary in E&P to create a database with dynamic data that allow to do an interaction in real time of the information generated during the drilling activities between the Petrel Studio ś users.Therefore, it is created a new repository called "Neuquina Shale" with a specific structure for this information oriented to the development of areas with horizontal wells and with more access permission to users to interact with the database.
