Redefining antifouling coating technology Part 3 - jun. 2011 - 4 p. ; 54-57
Transcripción del resumen del autor. After tin-based technology was abandoned in 2001, economic and envirnmental factors have necessitated higher energy efficiency in marine transportation, much of which depends on the performance of antifouling coatings. Part 1 of this article (April 2011 MP) introduced the subject, Part 2 (May 2011 MP) covered topcoating technologies and fueld savings from silylated acrylate (SA) coatings, and Part 3 presents tie-coat technologies, future evolution of SA coatings, and overall conclusions.
