Judging from the amount of drill bits rotating in Canada this days, one might be forgiven for thinking that the oil and gas industry's favourite dance step is the twist. According to the Petroleum Service Alliance of Canada (PSAC), and industry group representing service companies, the oil patch is on target to drill 23,825 wells in 2005 - a 5% increase over last year's record 22,600 wells.
