Transcripción del resumen del autor. To reduce carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions of diesel engines in Europe, a 32% urea mixture must be injected into the exhaust pipe. This article describes the use of carbon steel tanks to store the urea-water mixture, which are protected with internal coating and impressed current cathodic protection.
