Silica scale control additives for industrial water systems - nov. 2009 - 5 p. ; 48-52

Transcripción del resumen del autor. Currently, a wide variety of non-polymeric and polymeric additives are used to combat silica scaling. These additives are generally effective as scale inhibitors and dispersants under normal operating conditions. However, thermal stress may cause some degradation of polymeric additive performance. This article discusses the impact of composition and the influence of thermal stress on the performance of polymeric silica inhibitors.
