This article evaluates a quantitative relationship between blasting-related operation parameters and blasting efficiency, as well as the optimum conditions that can improve blasting efficiency. Abrasive size and hardness, nozzle pressure, and abrasive flow rate played important roles in improving coating performance; the effect of abrasive hardness on surface profile was negligible.
