Transcripción del abstract original del autor: This report details the joint development of a versatile time-of-use pricing calculator by Tokyo Gas Co., Ltd. a meter manufacture, Aichi Tokei Denki Co., Ltd. For example, development concepts, specifications, laboratory and field tests are described. Among these topics, we emphasize development concepts, such as flexible price menus, streamlining our operation, adaptability for use with many meter types, large data capacity and high reliability, so as to understand our intention of the development. Nevertheless, while Tokyo Gas has not decided to introduce time-of-use pricing yet, we are ready to use the calculator anytime that we are required to introduce time-of-use pricing. As this development is a first step preparation for future stiff competition, this report mentions further development plans using new metering and communication technology.
