Transcripción del abstract original del autor: This paper examines the issues of efficient gas utilization in Russian Federation and considers possible ways of implementing gas saving solutions. Description of Russian fuel and energy balance and its peculiar features as compared to fuel and energy balances of other European countries is provided. Special attention is paid to energy saving problems encountered at the stage of gas distribution and utilization. Finally, investment advantages of energy saving projects are specified and possible ways to cooperate in implementing programmes for improvement of gas utilization efficiency are considered.
