Transcripción del abstract original del autor: The aim of this work is to show possibilities of how the simulation results may be used not only as an instrument for reservoir engineering, but also as an important cost reduction factor. Nafta a.s., Gbely has thirty years experience with natural gas storage. This work deals with cost reduction at three levels - past, present and future. The first level compares actual underground gas storage (UGS) building and development in Nafta a.s., Gbely from early Seventies with the possible UGS building using modern methods. The second level describes the present utilisation of the simulation works in Nafta a.s., Gbely and the third level describes the possibilities of the prospective simulation. This work can be a source of information for UGS developing companies. This work does not intend to introduce any new instrument to the gas industry, but uncovers and summarises the potential, sometimes neglected aspects, of such a state of the art instrument as reservoir simulation.
