Transcripción del abstract original del autor: Honda has developed a Micro Combined Heat and Power Generation Unit (Honda MCHP1.0) for residential use. This unit produces both hot water and electricity in an extremely efficient process. By fueling the system with clean burning natural gas, carbon-dioxide emissions can be significantly reduced and the unit can be interconnected to the electricity Power Grid. The Honda MCHP1.0 has achieved 85% (Low Heat Value "LHV") total energy efficiency, a compact 380mm width, and operating noise level of 46dB(A)/1m by utilizing advanced small engine technology and inverter generator technology from Honda's power equipment business. These units are the smallest commercialized cogeneration units.
