The aim of this work was to characterize the most favorable zones to behave as reservoirs of the permeable levels of Mb. Cutral Có, belonging to the Fm. The Molles. For the study, the 3D seismic cube information and the data provided by the exploratory surveys carried out in the area (geological control and well profiles) were used.The methodology used consisted of the generation of an isochronous plane at the top of the Mb. Cutral Có. Subsequently and based on the generation of velocity models in each well, isovelocity maps were made that allowed to convert the maps in time to depth. Different seismic attributes were extracted that, combined with the interpretation of profiles and production data, allowed the correlation of the same.The interpretation of the results permitted to delimit two zones of interest, where the levels of greater useful thickness coincided with the highest zone of the structure evidencing, a trapping with strong structural behavior. While superimposed on the previous ones, a distribution of attributes was determined that showed a trapping with a strong stratigraphic behavior.In conclusion, the results obtained with the root mean square (RMS) amplitude attribute showed a good correlation with espesor útilranges.
