Transcripción del abstract original del autor This report describes the activities of Working Committee 1 during the triennium 2000 - 2003. The first part of the report gives an overview of the current situation worldwide within the basic activities of the committee. In the second part of the report analyses of two prioritized topics important to the industry are described: ; Cost efficiency increase in exploration and production ; Future technology trends in exploration and production The report will be presented during the WOC 1 sessions at the World Gas Conference 2003, together with other additional reports relevant to the committee’ area of interests. Other relevant papers selected for technology forum program will be presented during the technology forum sessions. Furthermore, within one of the WOC 1 session a round table session will be organized, addressing the risks and opportunities for upstream investment in future world gas production. Representatives from the gas industry biggest companies will take part in this round table discussion.
