Online resources: In: Summary: Successful secondary recovery projects require a very detailed feasibility study, which includes considering that the water injected must meet the optimum quality to avoid producing damage to the formation.The objective of this work is the determination of the pore sizes distribution in the reservoirs to achieve the prevention of the problems associated with the invasion of solids present in the injection water.In the Cerro Grande area, we rely on a distribution of representative samples obtained from rotating cores, which constitute the stratigraphic column of the Gulf of San Jorge Basin, Argentina. Also, we rely on a density of NMR logging data information from the column with a similar data density. From these data, a study was started in which the bines distribution of the T2 spectrum obtained with NMR logging were interrelated with the distribution of the radius of the pore throats obtained in the capillary pressure tests of laboratory, using the Purcell method in rotated cores. The study was carried out in a particular project of the area, where a decrease of the total injection flow in some injector wells was measured. This drop could take place due to filling in facilities, loss of admission, etc.The results of this study could be used as an analogy in projects of similar characteristics, to mitigate the risks by deposition of particles from the beginning of the injection, in order to guarantee the development of the oil reserves involved.
